Deliver Consistently High-performing Ultrafiltration Solutions With Superior Flux, Extended Lifespan, and Reduced Maintenance
FiltMem has over 20 years of continuous research and commercial application experience in membrane separation technology. Our proprietary PES and PVDF ultrafiltration membranes consistently and reliably perform in a variety of demanding municipal and industrial applications.
We are a enterprises capable of large-scale production and application of PVDF Thermally Induced Phase Separation (TIPS) external pressure ultrafiltration membranes.
TIPS PVDF External Pressure Membrane
Thermally Induced Phase Separation (TIPS) technology creates membranes with superior chemical stability, outstanding mechanical strength, and a highly uniform 3D porous structure.
More refined, higher porosity, multi-dimensional continuous interconnected network structure.
- Uniform pore architecture resists surface abrasion
- High porosity minimizes filtration resistance & boosts flux
- Interconnected network enables superior cleanability & performance recovery
Benefits of the TIPS Membrane Technology
The TIPS (Thermally Induced Phase Separation) process produces UF membranes enables precise pore size control (0.1-10 μm) with uniform distribution and high porosity.
High Crystallinity γ-Phase Structure
Ensures excellent chemical resistance and long-term operational stability.
High-Strength Membrane Fibers
Tensile strength 2–5 times higher than conventional wet-process membranes, minimizing fiber breakage.
Excellent Hydrophilicity
Proprietary surface modification technology reduces contact angle from 75° to nearly 0° within 20 seconds.
Exceptional Flux Performance
Up to 50% higher water flux and 38% lower transmembrane pressure compared to traditional membranes.
Prolonged Service Life
20× higher oxidation and chemical resistance, significantly extending operational lifespan.
Energy Efficiency
Low filtration resistance and high surface porosity help reduce energy consumption by up to 50%.
RTIPS PES Internal Pressure Membrane
FiltMem RTIPS PES internal pressure ultrafiltration membranes are crafted using imported BASF Polyethersulfone (E6020P), ensuring premium quality and performance.
The unique gradient sponge tri-phase structure demonstrates a characteristic cross-sectional morphology.
- The central section exhibits the highest porosity, while the inner layer presents the densest configuration
- Inner layer(separation layer): Pore diameters predominantly range between 20-30 nm
- The outer layer (protective layer): Features open pores of approximately 200 nm in diameter
Advantages of the RTIPS Method
The RTIPS approach enables superior pore interconnectivity and tunable surface properties while maintaining the advantages of thermal-induced processing, such as excellent mechanical strength and chemical resistance.
Unique Gradient Structure
Distinctive three-phase gradient structure, with the densest layer at the inner and a more open outer layer.
Precise Pore Control
Featuring a dense inner surface layer (20–30nm pore size) and an open outer protective layer (200nm).
Enhanced Hydrophilicity
Better hydrophilicity, and significantly reduces fouling and decreases the frequency of cleaning cycles.
Alkaline Stability
The fibers maintain excellent stability in strong alkaline environments, improving cleaning efficiency.
Superior Virus Removal
Ideal for drinking water and ultrafiltration pretreatment applications.
Engineered for Critical Applications
From wastewater reuse and seawater desalination to ultrapure water systems and industrial effluent polishing, FiltMem membranes safeguard water quality and operational reliability.
- Advanced TIPS/RTIPS Technologies
