| Project Name | Chemical Plant Saline Wastewater Treatment System |
| Capacity | 52,200 m³/d |
| Location | Urumqi City, Xinjiang |
| Wastewater Source | Saline wastewater from multiple chemical plant workshops |
| Process Flow | Lime/Soda Softening → Media Filtration → Ultrafiltration → Reverse Osmosis |
This project provides a comprehensive treatment solution for saline wastewater generated by various workshops within the Chemical Plant. It ensures the safe and compliant discharge and partial reuse of industrial effluents containing high levels of dissolved salts.
Process
The treatment system adopts a multi-stage process integrating lime/soda softening, media filtration, ultrafiltration (UF), and reverse osmosis (RO). This combined process effectively removes hardness, suspended solids, organic contaminants, and dissolved salts from the wastewater stream.
Features
- Capacity: 52,200 m³/day
- Wastewater Source: Saline wastewater from multiple chemical plant workshops
- Treatment Process: Lime/soda softening → Media filtration → Ultrafiltration → Reverse osmosis
- Purpose: Effluent discharge compliance and water resource reuse within the plant

The system enhances the plant’s wastewater management capacity, supports sustainable industrial operations, and contributes to water resource conservation in arid regions.
